GASMAX DSX
Explosion-proof dual-channel monitor with local and remote sensors, strobe, and buzzer for hazardous areas.

What This Device
Does
The GASMAX DSX is a dual-channel gas monitor for fixed ambient gas detection where multiple sensors are required. It supports both local and remote electrochemical and infrared combustible sensors, with several electrochemical sensors available in low, medium, and high ranges. Non-intrusive magnetic switches allow complete configuration and calibration in the field without compromising the explosion-proof rating.
Key Specifications
Where You'd
Use This
Process areas where two different gas hazards need monitoring from one enclosure
Hazardous areas requiring explosion-proof certification with integrated audible/visual alarms
Refineries and chemical plants needing electrochemical sensors across multiple ranges
Fixed detection points where field calibration must not require opening the enclosure
Why We Specify This
We specify the GASMAX DSX when a client needs two sensors at one location in a hazardous area -REPLACED- for example H2S and combustible gas at a wellhead. The built-in strobe and buzzer mean we do not need to install separate alarm signaling, which simplifies the wiring and the documentation. The non-intrusive magnetic switches are essential for maintenance inside a classified area where opening an enclosure requires a gas-free certificate.
