GASMAX QSM
Quad-channel wired monitor with four independent sensor assemblies, per-channel outputs, strobe, and buzzer.

What This Device
Does
The GASMAX QSM is a quad-channel gas monitor supporting up to four local or remote sensors for hazardous toxic or combustible gases or VOCs. Each of the four sensor assemblies has independent fault, 4-20mA, and RS-485 outputs with two programmable alarm setpoints and front-panel LED indicators. Ships with top-mounted strobe and bottom-mounted dual-tone buzzer.
Key Specifications
Where You'd
Use This
Central monitoring point covering four separate gas detection zones
Compressor stations monitoring multiple gas types from one enclosure
Chemical process areas where four hazard points are within 50 feet of a common mounting
Facilities wanting to consolidate multiple single-channel monitors into one unit
Why We Specify This
The QSM is the wired equivalent of the QSM-RF, and we use it where the installation is cabled rather than wireless. Having four independent channels with individual outputs in one enclosure reduces panel space, conduit runs, and installation labour. The per-channel LED indicators mean an operator walking past can immediately see which sensor is in alarm.
